Aston Martin, the 104‑year‑old British luxury carmaker, set an ambitious Second Century Plan to launch seven new models and ramp production to 7,000 units a year while preserving its bespoke quality. The company faced the challenge of coordinating complex, multi‑site engineering and supply chains, turning rapidly growing volumes of data into timely decisions, and keeping intellectual property secure as teams worked more collaboratively and at higher pace.

Aston Martin implemented Microsoft 365 and Azure—leveraging Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Skype for Business, Project Online, Power BI and Office 365 services—to unify collaboration, project/resource management, analytics, mobile access and secure cloud hosting of its public configurator. The tools enabled real‑time teamwork across sites, program managers to run multiple programs concurrently with smarter resource allocation, faster issue resolution through Power BI dashboards, and improved availability and security—helping the company accelerate production without compromising design quality.
