Arçelik A.Ş., a global appliance maker selling in 135 countries, faced a growing spare‑parts forecasting problem: a catalog of 350,000 SKUs, 10 disparate data systems and manual spreadsheets left it unable to predict demand reliably, causing stockouts, excess inventory and slower service that hurt customer satisfaction.

Working with BilgeAdam, Arçelik implemented a Cortana Intelligence Suite solution on Azure (Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory and Azure Machine Learning) that automates monthly data ingestion, algorithm testing and 12‑month forecasts and went live in three months. Forecast accuracy improved to as much as 80% (from ~60%), coverage expanded from 100,000 to all 350,000 SKUs, forecasts are produced weekly, inventory turnover is expected to rise ~10%, and service is faster and more cost‑effective—boosting customer satisfaction.
