American Nurses Association chooses Catapult Systems to streamline and support rapid expansion of Azure usage, reducing costs by 30%

The American Nurses Association (ANA) needed help controlling rising Microsoft Azure costs and securing its environment as it rapidly shifted more than 250 employees to remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic. With around 400 employees total, ANA turned to Microsoft Azure and Catapult Systems to better manage spending, improve visibility, and strengthen security for its remote workforce.

Catapult Systems implemented Azure Management Services and its EverWatch monitoring tool to assess costs, set a budget, build cost dashboards, and provide proactive reporting and recommendations. As a result, ANA cut Microsoft Azure costs by 30%, increased its security score by 38%, and reduced service issues by 60%, while gaining more predictable monthly spending and faster issue response.
