Altum Credo Home Finance is a Pune‑based startup launched in 2017 that provides small‑ticket home loans to low- and middle‑income families in India. With limited staff and capital, the company needed a robust, scalable IT backbone for its loan origination and loan management systems while keeping operational costs lean and accelerating time to market—making a cloud-first approach essential.

Working with fintech provider FIS and partner Cloudreach, Altum Credo deployed its systems on Microsoft Azure (with Red Hat and Linux) and used India‑based disaster recovery to meet regulatory and commercial needs. The cloud solution delivered quick go‑live, cost efficiency, and the flexibility to scale — supporting current operations and plans to expand from two branches to an 80‑branch network across several states.
