Case Study: Sulekha achieves faster, flexible scaling for high-volume data with Microsoft Azure Stream Analytics

Sulekha, a large Indian digital platform that connects customers with local businesses, needed a faster, more flexible way to manage massive volumes of JSON data and support rapid app development. To address these challenges, the company turned to Microsoft Azure Stream Analytics as part of its broader Microsoft Azure environment, alongside Azure DocumentDB/Cosmos DB and other Azure services.

Microsoft Azure Stream Analytics helped Sulekha feed real-time data into Power BI dashboards while the company used Azure’s cloud services to simplify operations, improve scalability, and speed development. The broader Azure solution enabled Sulekha to handle more than 35 million unique visits per month, generate 358,000 documents daily, and support peak traffic of over 36 hits per second with around 60,000 request units, all while reducing administrative overhead and enabling weekly product releases.
