Microsoft and Delta launch cloud solution sales program with Azure and IoT

Delta Electronics, a manufacturing company in Taiwan with more than 10,000 employees, wanted to advance its smart building and intelligent manufacturing capabilities while improving energy management, building automation, and operational efficiency. Working with Microsoft Azure Stream Analytics and the broader Azure IoT stack, Delta aimed to create cloud-based solutions that could better connect, monitor, and analyze building and equipment data in real time.

Microsoft and Delta implemented two smart building solutions: Chiller System Anomaly Detection and Bluetooth Intelligent Control. Using Microsoft Azure IoT Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Power BI, and AI-enabled cloud services, Delta could collect and analyze sensor data in real time, detect chiller anomalies earlier, and optimize lighting and environmental control for comfort and sustainability. The result was improved operational efficiency, reduced costs, and a flexible, high-security cloud foundation for future AIoT expansion.
