ISTOBAL revolutionizes the car wash sector with Microsoft Azure

ISTOBAL, a Spanish multinational vehicle wash and care company, needed a way to digitally connect and manage car wash facilities across multiple countries while improving customer experience, operational visibility, and maintenance efficiency. Using Microsoft Azure Stream Analytics as part of its Azure cloud stack, along with Azure IoT Hub and Azure Service Bus, ISTOBAL set out to collect and analyze real-time data from thousands of machines and payment systems.

Microsoft Azure helped ISTOBAL build Smartwash, an IoT-based platform that monitors equipment, customer behavior, payments, and technical alerts in real time from any device. The solution enabled remote incident resolution, better maintenance planning, lower operating costs, and longer equipment uptime, helping customers keep their businesses running and boosting profitability.
