The company needed a way to personalize content at the forecourt, streamline equipment management, and reduce downtime, and it partnered with Microsoft Azure Stream Analytics along with Azure IoT Hub and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise to support that vision.

With Microsoft Azure Stream Analytics and the Azure IoT platform, DFS built a smart fueling solution that processes pump data in near real time, enables targeted ads and media at the pump, and supports remote monitoring and predictive maintenance. The result is a more personalized customer experience, better operational visibility, and fewer costly failures; DFS also cites its remote monitoring solution as poised to save retailers about $75 million annually.
