The company partnered with Microsoft Azure Stream Analytics and Dell Technologies, using Azure IoT Hub, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, and related Azure tools to build an industrial IoT predictive maintenance solution.
Microsoft Azure Stream Analytics helped power IoT-PREDICT by analyzing sensor data from vibration, temperature, and current readings and triggering queries and alerts on performance thresholds. The solution gave manufacturers a faster, easier way to deploy IoT, gain actionable insights, and predict problems before they occurred, helping reduce downtime, lower maintenance and energy costs, and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
