The Thacher School - Customer Case Study

The Thacher School is a prestigious coed boarding school on 425 acres overlooking the Ojai Valley, with more than 325,000 sq. ft. of facilities including 44 homes, stables for 130 horses, and on-site utilities. As the maintenance staff grew to 18, the school outgrew its manual maintenance system and handwritten work orders and needed a scalable, trackable solution.

MicroMain’s CMMS was implemented for work orders, preventive maintenance, and fleet management, and proved easy to learn and manage without a full-time administrator. Staff were quickly onboarded, technicians can receive work orders by phone or email and access PMs and attached documents, and the system is now being used to plan for over $12 million in deferred maintenance.
