A MicroMain Corporation Case Study
Carroll Lutheran Village, a 90-acre retirement community in Carroll County, Maryland, was struggling with a paper-clip system for logging maintenance across cottages, apartments, assisted-living units and a 103‑bed health center. Facing plans to nearly double residents and facility square footage, managers needed a scalable, efficient way to track work orders, inspections and preventative maintenance.
They implemented MicroMain’s CMMS and the Mobile handheld module ten years ago; six technicians now download and complete assigned work orders on handhelds while five managers use the system for reporting, cost analysis and inspection forms. The result: streamlined workflows, reduced paperwork, better accountability, time savings, improved preventative maintenance and confidence that the system will scale as the campus grows.
