Premier Waste, one of the UK’s largest independent waste management companies with over eighty vehicles, faced heavy paperwork, inefficient routing and the need for better visibility of vehicle activity. To address these challenges they deployed MICHELIN Connected Fleet’s web-based vehicle tracking solution to reduce admin, improve route planning and track vehicles in real time.

MICHELIN Connected Fleet’s system eliminated much of the paper documentation so invoices could be raised immediately, provided live and historical vehicle data, and enabled improved routing that delivered measurable savings—around £8,000 per year per vehicle—and allowed a six-vehicle collection round to be reduced to five. The solution also supplies verifiable on-site evidence and overall cost reductions through better route management.
