Preview of the Pivotal Case Study

PIVOTAL HAS SEEN Driver and road user safety enhanced with the introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI) cameras across Cash and Valuables in Transit (CVIT) fleet

Pivotal, a cash and valuables in transit specialist operating a 165-vehicle fleet across the UK and Ireland, needed a better way to improve driver safety, monitor risky behavior, and manage high-risk operations more effectively. The company worked with MICHELIN Connected Fleet to trial AI-powered smart cameras alongside telematics and data analysis tools.

MICHELIN Connected Fleet implemented a multi-camera AI solution that detects fatigue, distraction, mobile phone use, harsh braking, and rapid acceleration, while also providing real-time proximity alerts and live video streaming. The results included improved driver performance, better road user safety, faster incident review and liability determination, and greater peace of mind for a business handling more than 30,000 CVIT services per month.
