Oakleaf Commercial Services, a provider of property maintenance and fleet services with 127 light commercial vehicles, needed better access to telematics data to improve risk management, driver behaviour and fuel/emissions reporting. They chose Masternaut Connect from MICHELIN Connected Fleet to provide an easy-to-use, desktop- and mobile-accessible solution that tracked speed, location, arrival/departure times, CO2, fuel consumption, MPG, harsh events and idling.

MICHELIN Connected Fleet installed Masternaut across the entire fleet, tuned benchmarks to filter minor transgressions, and set up weekly individual reports focused on driver safety and speeding. The result was a drop in speeding events from 140 to 60 per week, a 50% reduction in unnecessary idling, a 30% cut in harsh braking/acceleration, annual fuel savings of over £9,500 and 1,316 kg CO2 saved since early 2017, along with a measurable cultural shift toward safer driving.
