Cormac, a Cornwall Council–owned civil engineering and infrastructure contractor with nearly 2,000 employees, needed to migrate its diverse fleet of about 700 vehicles to a more modern telematics platform without disrupting operations. To achieve improved functionality, ease of use and better reporting, Cormac engaged MICHELIN Connected Fleet to move from its legacy system to the Connect platform, supported by MICHELIN Connected Fleet’s Catalytix professional services team.

MICHELIN Connected Fleet implemented a detailed Adopt migration plan, mirroring data across platforms, running stakeholder communications and weekly progress reviews to mitigate risk. The project migrated all 700 vehicles in seven weeks, on time and on budget, with no interruption to fleet activity; Cormac immediately gained real‑time visibility, customizable dashboards and easier reporting, translating fleet data into actionable insight.
