A MICHELIN Connected Fleet Case Study
Highway Traffic Management (HTM) worked with MICHELIN Connected Fleet to improve sustainability while supporting cost control, with a focus on reducing vehicle idling and better understanding fleet performance. The business wanted to cut carbon emissions, lower fuel waste, and support its wider environmental goals across a growing fleet.
MICHELIN Connected Fleet introduced on-board fleet management data and turned it into actionable insights for HTM, helping the team reduce idling and track progress over time. As a result, HTM cut CO2 emissions by 50% and reduced idling by 48.6%; across 142 vehicles over six months, this saved more than 19.6 tonnes of CO2 and £7,421 in fuel, while also helping HTM achieve PAS2060 Carbon Neutrality certification and Green Highways membership.
