A MICHELIN Connected Fleet Case Study
Jaga Brothers, a Newport haulier transporting construction materials such as steel, timber and bricks, wanted to improve the management of its trucks and trailers while cutting fuel costs and downtime. After partnering with MICHELIN Connected Fleet and using Truck Plus and Trailer Premium, the company aimed to make the service pay for itself within the first year.
MICHELIN Connected Fleet implemented telematics and smart reporting across the fleet, helping Jaga Brothers analyse vehicle data, improve driver behaviour and receive tyre pressure and temperature alerts. The results included £35,000 saved in fuel across 42 trucks, £5,600 saved in tyre replacements on 130 trailers, a 66% reduction in rapid deflations, and expected first-year savings of more than £50,000, with potential additional savings of around £9,000 a year from brake maintenance.
