Cars Périer, a major coach operator in Normandy, needed reliable telematics data to improve passenger comfort and safety while cutting operating costs. They partnered with MICHELIN Connected Fleet to deploy telematics and on‑board eco‑driving coaching across their vehicles to monitor driving behaviour and fuel use.

MICHELIN Connected Fleet implemented a four‑step rollout—system tuning, employee communication and training, start‑up monitoring, and benefit measurement—equipping 169 vehicles (130 with on‑board eco‑driving coaches). The programme delivered measurable gains: about £82,000 in annual fuel savings, a 16% reduction in excessive speeding, a 64% decrease in engine over‑revving and a 46% cut in idling, improving driver behaviour, passenger comfort and ROI.
