Sony Music engaged Miappi to solve the problem of aggregating and showcasing social content for its artists, starting with a profile for Irish rock band Kodaline. The challenge was to combine official feeds and fan-generated content into a single, embeddable social experience so fans could view posts without app-hopping; Sony Music used Miappi’s social wall aggregation and curation tools to meet this need.

Miappi pulled Kodaline’s official feeds along with Twitter-tagged UGC into an embeddable Miappi social wall on the band’s website and supported Sony Music hashtag campaigns to keep fans’ voices front and centre. Since 2013 Miappi has powered social walls for a range of Sony Music artists — including Neon Jungle, The Kinks, Judas Priest, Union J, Little Mix, Hurts and Laura Doggett — providing a scalable, centralized way to curate and display fan-driven social content.
