NetworkQ, a major Vauxhall retailer and key sponsor of the 2016 Wales Rally GB, faced the challenge of turning a surge of social media activity from the event into measurable website engagement and conversions. To capture the rally’s audience buzz, NetworkQ partnered with Miappi and used Miappi’s visual marketing engine to surface and display user-generated content on its site.

Miappi discovered, curated and distributed the best social posts into an embedded social wall on NetworkQ’s website, driving significant engagement: a 192% increase in dwell time during the rally versus the prior 72 hours and 20% of tracked interactions clicking through to vehicle listings. Post-event metrics with Miappi remained strong (average dwell time 41% above automotive brand sites and 22% above dealer sites), with an average bounce rate around 8.88% (~9%), far below industry averages, making NetworkQ’s site a more valuable digital asset.
