Cancer Research UK engaged Miappi to amplify its World Cancer Day campaign #ADayToUnite and show how the nation was uniting in the fight against cancer. Miappi provided a social media aggregation and DOOH display service—using its social wall—to collect and curate public messages from across the UK and the world and surface them on screens for the campaign.
Miappi powered social walls on hundreds of digital out‑of‑home screens in London and Cardiff, aggregating user posts around the #ADayToUnite hashtag and broadcasting them throughout the day. The activity helped drive more than 255,000 hashtag posts and supported a World Cancer Day effort that raised close to £2 million in donations, with Miappi credited as a significant contributor to that impact.
