The railway company Trenord sought to improve and streamline its digital services for issuing tax receipts and proforma invoices for its customers. To meet high customer expectations and support its digital transformation, Trenord partnered with Mia-Platform to develop a more reliable, stable, and fast system for handling these documents.

Mia-Platform designed and implemented an event-based architecture using Kafka and microservices to generate and send documents. This solution, which included mechanisms like a Dead Letter Queue to prevent system overload, was rolled out incrementally and became fully operational in less than a month. The vendor Mia-Platform provided a stable, high-performance system that enhanced the user experience and became a foundational part of Trenord's ongoing digital innovation.
