Tea Collection is a children’s apparel brand that draws design inspiration from global cultures and values sharing discoveries and adventure. Facing the need to deepen customer engagement and make product discovery more social and shoppable, Tea sought a platform partner to help them experiment with new merchandising and social tools.
Partnering with Mi9 (formerly Upshot Commerce) since 2010, they launched features like the Lookbook, Match Maker, a social Shop Our Gallery (integrated with Olapic), a Pinboard Wish List, and tight Facebook integration with contests and review drives. These tools made it easy to browse and buy complete looks or mix-and-match items, amplified user-generated content and social sharing, and increased cross-sell opportunities—boosting customer engagement, social participation, and sales.
