New Zealand King Salmon, the world’s largest King salmon producer, needed to get on top of engineering and electrical maintenance across its farms and processing plants. To address this challenge they implemented MEX, using MEX Maintenance Software along with MEX Ops and the MEX Readings module to record and track maintenance activities, capture job details and running hours, and allow any team member to submit and prioritise maintenance requests.
MEX delivered a cloud-hosted solution (data hosted by MEX since September 2014) that centralises work orders, team accountability and preventive maintenance triggers. As a result, New Zealand King Salmon can prioritise tasks more effectively, push out PMs automatically based on asset hours, access up-to-date data anywhere with instant software upgrades, and rely on stable, easy-to-use hosting from MEX.
