The Laminex Group, Australia’s leading supplier of laminates, engineered stone and timber panelling, operated six manufacturing sites with different, aged CMMS applications that created inconsistent planning and scheduling, manual double-handling and exposure to system failure. To standardize maintenance and improve asset availability and reliability, Laminex Group engaged MEX to deliver an enterprise-wide CMMS solution.

MEX implemented its modern CMMS across all six sites, guided Laminex toward industry best practices, and is building an MEX/ERP interface to enable MEX Stores and the Purchasing Module. The result is standardized maintenance processes enterprise-wide, removal of the risk posed by unsupported legacy systems, elimination of manual transactions/double handling, and a stronger foundation to meet availability and reliability goals—backed by MEX’s hands-on implementation and ongoing support.
