Case Study: Tip Top achieves safer production and reduced downtime with MEX maintenance software

A MEX Case Study

Preview of the Tip Top Case Study

How is MEX used to help achieve these goals

Tip Top, a division of George Weston Foods with 4,500 staff operating 15 bakeries and about 70 production lines across Australia and New Zealand, needed to ensure people, food and environmental safety while reducing unplanned downtime across production and fleet assets. To meet these goals Tip Top implemented MEX’s CMMS, using MEX for Preventative Maintenance planning, unplanned work capture and spare-parts tracking.

MEX’s solution—integrated with Tip Top’s Tableau analytics and supported by MEX Data Hosting and a Maintenance Agreement—enabled faster system performance than their previous CMMS, cost-effective licensing, and easy customization so users can make many tweaks themselves. As a result, MEX has helped Tip Top maintain high machine reliability, minimise waste, reduce unplanned downtime and free up more time for staff to focus on the production floor.
