Domaine Chandon, the Yarra Valley winery established by Moët & Chandon, needed a way to manage a small maintenance workforce and keep on top of planned and reactive work across its site. To address this, they implemented MEX Maintenance Software from MEX, using features like MEX Ops Requests to let departments lodge electronic work requests and tools to track current, outstanding and completed work.

MEX centralized maintenance planning, prioritization and reporting—allowing Domaine Chandon to monitor maintenance costs, work orders and asset usage and to set site-specific KPIs. The outcome was a measurable reduction in maintenance costs and equipment downtime, improved equipment productivity and overall equipment effectiveness, and MEX has since been rolled out to two other wineries in the Estates and Wine Group.
