Beach Energy, an Adelaide‑headquartered oil and gas exploration and production company operating more than 20 facilities across the Cooper and Eromanga Basins, needed a centralised, secure way to manage maintenance and demonstrate regulatory compliance across remote sites. Beach Energy chose the MEX CMMS (MEX Maintenance Experts) for its easy‑to‑use interface, central management, robust security and Australian help desk support to standardise maintenance processes and upskill operator maintainers.
MEX implemented on‑site training and deployed its solution including the MEX iOS app and MEX Inspections, enabling operators to record inspections, capture photos and raise work orders from the field. The MEX system provided auditable records accessible from head office, ensured equipment is serviced to industry best practice, and delivered faster, controlled resolution of operational issues—what Beach Energy described as transforming their ability to access inspection data and rectify issues in a timely manner.
