Red Bull ignites their internal salespeople with gamified contests

Red Bull tapped Mevo to spark competition inside its sales organization. When Red Bull Norway wanted to boost activity among food-retail and hospitality sales reps, they used Mevo’s gamified contest platform to run a month-long “Red Bull Battle” where reps registered sales and placement of brand material and competed on an in-app leaderboard.

Mevo provided the app-based solution—leaderboards, point-scoring for sales and placements, quizzes and bonus points for getting store managers to participate—and ran the month-long contest. The Mevo-powered campaign engaged salespeople individually and by “wings team,” produced a close race with prizes for winners, and generated measurable activity tracked as points from registrations, placements and quiz completions.
