A Mettl Case Study
Ashoka University, a leading private university in India, faced significant challenges in administering its entrance exams for a global applicant pool using a traditional pen-and-paper method. The process was logistically intensive, requiring travel to multiple cities, and raised concerns about accessibility, exam integrity, and data security. To overcome these hurdles, the university partnered with vendor Mettl to utilize its Online Examination Platform and proctoring services.
Mettl implemented a customized online examination system that featured a robust platform capable of handling diverse question formats, AI and human proctoring to ensure integrity, and a 3-point candidate authentication process. The solution required minimal internet bandwidth, accommodated last-minute entries, and offered flexible scheduling. As a result, Ashoka University expanded its global reach, eliminated logistical hassles, and seamlessly continued its admissions process during the COVID-19 pandemic. Mettl's platform successfully enabled the university to host exams for up to 900 students simultaneously with enhanced credibility and a positive candidate experience.
