Environmental Services Company, a national leader in recycling, waste removal and hazardous disposal serving millions across nearly every U.S. state, faced a highly fragmented communications environment after many acquisitions: hundreds of POTS providers, aging Cisco equipment, limited bandwidth, poor transparency, and the need to better connect 15,000–20,000 drivers while managing mobility for 40,000 employees. MetTel consolidated thousands of legacy phone lines into a modern digital voice network, deployed managed SD‑WAN to increase bandwidth, resiliency and security, and configured and shipped roughly 20,000 tablets with MetTel Single SIM (leveraging 650+ carriers) while delivering MDaaS staging and device management for 40,000 employees. The result was a feature‑rich voice network at lower cost with one invoice, full network transparency, improved redundancy and security, hundreds of administrative hours saved, and continuous connectivity for drivers and field teams.
