FIS, a Fortune 500 provider of technology and services to more than 20,000 financial clients worldwide, needed a scalable, visible and intelligent network to support its digital transformation and growing application and voice/data demands. After a nine‑month evaluation, FIS selected MetTel’s Managed SD‑WAN to replace traditional MPLS-only architectures and deliver the flexibility, control and performance their banking customers required.
MetTel implemented a software‑defined WAN that integrates MPLS, broadband and 4G‑LTE under a single management console and added Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) for AI‑driven incident handling. The MetTel solution optimized traffic and QoS, increased bandwidth support, lowered cost per MB, streamlined management and expanded network analytics — with 83% of SD‑WAN incidents automatically identified, 100% triaged and 34% automatically restored — resulting in faster ticket resolution, reduced MTTR and improved end‑user satisfaction.
