Chapel Hill Collects over 11,000 Data Points

The Town of Chapel Hill used MetroQuest to strengthen public participation as it developed design guidelines, rewrote its Land Use Management Ordinance, and refined its Future Land Use Map. The planning team needed a better way to capture meaningful community input and support its Comprehensive Plan with broad public engagement.

Using MetroQuest’s online engagement platform and Studio, Chapel Hill created mobile-friendly, visually engaging surveys and used them across multiple planning projects. MetroQuest helped the town collect 11,255+ data points and 1,236+ comments, while also making it easier to analyze results and use surveys as education tools for the public.
