Zego, a company operating in a regulated industry, faced the challenge of maintaining data security across its cloud-based tools, particularly within Google Workspace and Slack. Metomic provided Zego with the visibility and control needed to secure its SaaS data. Shortly after implementation, the solution uncovered that hundreds, possibly thousands, of internal documents were publicly shared, a critical issue that may not have been caught otherwise. This allowed Zego to investigate, implement new controls and labeling structures, and build a better security culture. The solution from Metomic enabled faster investigations and provided features like data masking to proactively prevent data loss.
