Lincolnshire County Council reduces 16.5k pages to 400 with Methods

Lincolnshire County Council sought to improve its citizens' online experience as part of a digital transformation journey. The challenge was to deliver this change at pace across their website and online transaction services, which required a robust digital platform. They selected the Jadu Continuum platform and partnered with Methods to achieve this.

Methods implemented an accelerated discovery and delivery plan, using a Sprint 0 to configure the platform and define standards. Their consultants were embedded within the council's team to co-design and build digital services using an Agile approach. The results were significant: 65 processes were rationalized into 43 improved digital ones, 16,500 pages of content were reduced to 400, and 32 microsites were eliminated. Methods delivered all 43 processes, with 23 going live on the beta site and the rest scheduled for release, enabling a pace of change the council could not have achieved alone.
