A Methods Case Study
The Department for Education (DfE) faced the challenge of implementing a major reform of the UK's vocational education system with the introduction of T Levels. This required writing new policy and coordinating across a complex environment with numerous stakeholders. The DfE engaged Methods to help define the scope of this new service and create a unified strategy for its delivery.
Methods supported the discoveries, alphas, and betas for the new systems, establishing a service vision and a strategic approach. This work facilitated stakeholder alignment, streamlined decision-making, and minimized risks. Methods delivered a Minimum Viable Product website to provide information to students and employers. The results included the successful delivery of T Levels to thousands of students, increased engagement, and the creation of a long-term operating model to support the programme's evolution over the next decade.
