Nave Analytics, a Nebraska-based agtech startup, helps farmers make better irrigation decisions with its NaveGrow solution. Using the Meteomatics Weather API alongside NASA satellite imagery, the company needed highly accurate precipitation forecasts to improve soil moisture predictions and reduce client complaints.

Meteomatics provided the weather data that powered Nave Analytics’ soil moisture modeling and the new NavePlant planting-optimization app. The result was more reliable irrigation and planting guidance, daily moisture-risk assessments every 100 meters, and two-week projections for farmers; according to Nave Analytics, switching to Meteomatics cut the CTO’s time spent handling client issues by two-thirds.
