Metapraxis worked with WPP, the global communications and advertising group, which needed a way to analyze financial and operational data across 30 operating companies and more than 20,000 reporting units. To support faster decision-making across geography, sector, and client, WPP required a more consistent, multi-dimensional reporting and insight capability than its existing fragmented processes could provide.
Metapraxis developed a tailored Performance Insight and Reporting application in Metapraxis Empower, integrating data hourly from WPP’s central finance system and enabling guided analysis, flexible reporting, variance commentary, and automated board-pack production. The solution improved decision-making, supported better working capital, cost, and margin management, increased finance efficiency to upper-quartile levels, and gave Group Finance and operating companies a single consistent view of performance.
