Migros downsizes database and improves company-wide collaboration performance

Migros (Genossenschaft Migros Ostschweiz) faced rapidly growing SharePoint content that degraded collaboration, overloaded SQL databases and made backups and recovery sluggish. While evaluating options to control data sprawl and restore performance, Migros selected Metalogix Software and its StoragePoint product to address the problem.

Metalogix Software implemented StoragePoint to move less-relevant large files to cost‑efficient external storage while preserving seamless access.
