Aditya Birla Minacs, a global business solutions company with 20,300 employees, faced poor performance and delayed access for Asia Pacific users because their corporate SharePoint intranet was hosted in North America. To ensure timely synchronization and high availability of business-critical content between North America and Asia, Aditya Birla Minacs engaged Metalogix Software and its Metalogix Replicator for SharePoint product.

Metalogix Software implemented Metalogix Replicator for SharePoint to enable bi-directional replication between the two main SharePoint farms, completing acceptance and full roll-out in about four weeks. The solution gave local access to replicated content for Asia Pacific users, removed bandwidth and location constraints, allowed selective (metadata-based) replication, and leveraged existing infrastructure—resulting in synchronized, up-to-date content for employees worldwide and cost savings from avoiding additional bandwidth or infrastructure changes.
