MetaCompliance and Manchester Metropolitan University Partner on Records Management eLearning Series

Manchester Metropolitan University, one of the largest universities in the UK with over 36,000 students and nearly 5,000 staff, faced growing cyber security and compliance risks and recognised a need to improve records management awareness across a large, distributed workforce. To address this, Manchester Metropolitan University partnered with MetaCompliance to develop a targeted Records Management eLearning series delivered via MetaCompliance’s learning management system.

MetaCompliance created a customised Records Management Series based on ISO 15489 featuring bite-sized nano videos, interactive modules, university branding, and role-specific short courses. Delivered through MetaCompliance’s LMS with embedded quizzes and a reporting dashboard, the solution enabled the university to scale training efficiently, measure completion rates and comprehension, and improve information management standards to support regulatory compliance.
