Cetec ERP, a manufacturer-focused ERP software provider based in Austin, needed an out-of-the-box, fully integrated business intelligence and custom reporting solution for cloud ERP users—one that offered greater flexibility for core business data without the high cost of Microsoft Power BI. With Metabase, Cetec ERP built an ETL layer to reshape ERP data into analysis-ready tables and white-labeled the platform as “Cetec ERP BI.” The result was an enterprise-grade embedded analytics experience that gave customers self-service dashboards, SQL access for advanced users, and easy embedding inside the ERP application. Metabase helped Cetec ERP deliver modern, customizable BI that was dramatically more affordable than comparable analytics tools, while also reducing the burden of maintaining an in-house reporting system.
