Fleep, a Tallinn-based communication platform for SMEs founded in 2012 with 130k+ registered users, needed secure, low-friction customer verification and onboarding for a global, multi-device user base. To validate phone numbers and gently nudge new registrants to install the mobile app, Fleep integrated Messente’s Verification API and SMS services into its sign-up flow.

Using Messente, Fleep implemented a PIN-based verification flow (verify/start and verify/pin) and an automated five-minute SMS reminder if users hadn’t moved to the mobile client. The integration was straightforward, required minimal work on Fleep’s side, and now about 65% of phone numbers are verified via Messente, improving onboarding efficiency and reducing manual verification effort.
