CollectNet, a subsidiary of Cleveron, builds networks of automated parcel-locker towers and a companion mobile app to simplify last-mile delivery. Their challenge was securing package handoffs—verifying that access codes and QR codes go to the correct recipient—while also serving customers and delivery partners who don’t use a smartphone app; they engaged Messente Communications for authentication and messaging services.

Messente Communications supplied a two-factor authentication API to verify users’ phone numbers and an SMS API to deliver QR and numeric access codes to any mobile phone, removing the app barrier for less tech‑savvy customers. By using Messente, CollectNet ensured reliable recipient authentication, broadened its reachable market, and made its locker terminals straightforward pickup locations for merchants and carriers.
