RACV leverages mobile marketing for new promotion

RACV (Royal Automobile Club of Victoria) wanted to drive uptake and awareness of its Emergency Home Assist (EHA) product and automate the sign-up process to produce a steady daily flow of leads. Using the Taguchi automated digital marketing platform to run multi-channel campaigns, RACV enlisted Sinch MessageMedia to introduce SMS as a new acquisition channel and to test the easiest “one‑click” activation for members.

Sinch MessageMedia integrated SMS into RACV’s multi-channel campaign (DM, eDM, web forms and SMS) and supported A/B testing of two trial offers (no-obligation renewal vs. credit-card auto-renewal). The addition of SMS by Sinch MessageMedia delivered incremental sign-ups and an eight percent conversion rate—exceeding expectations—and showed the effectiveness of mobile marketing within RACV’s multichannel strategy.
