Petals, an Australian affiliate of Teleflora and part of a global online florist network, faced the challenge of standing out in a crowded mobile-first marketplace and improving customer engagement via SMS. To address this, Petals partnered with Sinch MessageMedia to expand its mobile digital strategy, using SMS and Sinch MessageMedia’s mobile landing pages to reach customers on their devices.
Sinch MessageMedia implemented branded mobile landing pages delivered through SMS with trackable short links and clear CTAs (Order Now / Call Now). Sent to 18,000 recipients for a Christmas campaign, the approach drove over 1,000 unique visitors (average two visits per user), with 50 people visiting five-plus times and 150 visiting four to 17 times, delivered higher engagement than other channels, and produced lower opt-out rates—results Petals plans to scale for seasonal campaigns.
