The customer, Minda Industrieanlagen GmbH, is a provider of intralogistics and conveyor technology. They engaged the vendor, Meshparts, to provide engineering analysis for their wood press machinery. The challenge involved ensuring the strength and fatigue resistance of critical components and screwed connections in their designs.

Meshparts conducted a FEM analysis and provided strength proofs according to FKM and VDI 2230 standards. This solution optimized the design to increase its lifetime. The result was that critical screw connections were jointly designed to be fatigue resistant. Meshparts' work provided Minda with greater certainty that their prototypes would be correctly designed from the start, reducing development time and risk.
