A meshIQ Case Study
Global Banking Group, a large international bank heavy on middleware, needed to increase the efficiency of middleware experts and DevOps working with IBM MQ and TIBCO EMS. They wanted self‑service for non‑expert users, unified configuration and migration management, and simplified monitoring/operations. After a proof of concept, the bank selected meshIQ and tested meshIQ’s Nastel Navigator (SaaS) to address these needs.
meshIQ implemented Nastel Navigator to provide role‑based self‑service (GUI and CLI), automated configuration and migration workflows, and intelligent monitoring with alerting and root‑cause assistance. The solution delegated routine tasks away from experts, automated legacy migrations and simplified operations — important because the bank had 1,200 IBM MQ queue managers, with over 1,000 running unsupported or soon‑unsupported versions. meshIQ’s implementation eliminated that compliance risk, reduced the experts’ administration burden, and freed them to focus on higher‑value work.
