A Meshh Case Study
SailGP sought to gain deeper insight into spectator behavior at its New York City Sail Grand Prix event. The challenge was to understand how engagement differed across various ticket types, measure the effectiveness of sponsored assets and experiential components, and identify potential site expansion opportunities for future events. To address this, they partnered with spatial analytics provider Meshh.
Meshh deployed over 25 of its sensors throughout the venue to track visitor movement and engagement. The solution provided SailGP with custom analysis on how different ticket holders spent their time, operational data to optimize staffing, and crucial sponsor metrics to inform pricing and renewal conversations. The data from Meshh also allowed the event organizers to measure concert performance and successfully quantify the opportunity for expanding the venue site the following year.
