Our client came to Merrill wanting to personalize their communications without the internal resources and time it took to manually process. They also wanted a system that could easily adapt to changing regulations. Merrill’s Professional Services group evaluated their data and helped them determine the necessary data to populate their communications – ensuring they are personalized and compliant. Our SMEs then worked with our client to create a 2013-2014 ANOC/EOC data grid using client PDFs from 2013 and 2014 PBP and SB reports. Merrill was able to create programmable templates for versioning with the 2014 final CMS model documents, data grid and 2013 ANOC/EOCs. The client was then ready to utilize Merrill’s Enrollment Complete advanced dynamic document composition to standardize and normalize their data to enhance marketing and compliance communications. It allowed for high quality proofing, change control and audit opportunities both pre-and post-print – saving both time and money over legacy processes. Our integrated composition team managed template creation for plan versions generating PBP-specific versions, driving to nine product templates to render 230 plans. Not only were they able to utilize a single workflow to personalize their ANOC/EOC communications saving time and money over legacy processes. They now had centralized data combined with proven materials management practices providing them with the ability to rapidly adhere to changing market conditions and regulations while ensuring accurate, timely and compliant enrollment communications.
